The
most prominent & prestigious feature of
college is its library. It has 10 sections with
different halls. The library has a unique open
self system through which all the books are
accessible to the students. There are more than
1,67,886 books and 40,970 titles. The library
subscribes to 150 magazines and journals and 17
news papers in English, Hindi and Punjabi. The
whole library has been computerized. The
whereabouts of every book and the name, class and
roll number to whom it has been issued - all data
can be found out by the click of mouse. There is a
very useful and healthy CD section with more than
500 CDs. The library has a compact collection of
"The Tribune" news paper published since July,
1966.
The
following are some of the comments penned down by
the eminent visitors to the college:
I am highly impressed to
see the basic infrastructure facility,
richness in laborites towards R & D work
and one to one interaction between the teacher
and the student which qualifies the college as
an excellent centre for education. I wish the
college together strength and reach new height
by strengthening relations with the
institutions, industry and research.

One feels young and
curious again to be in a college like this.
The atmosphere is thoroughly academic. The
library is a marvel - For most colleges in
India I see everywhere the itch to respond to
student needs and their welfare. I am sure
M.L.N. College will be the pride of Haryana,
if it is not already that.

I was deeply impressed
with the manner in which the library is being
maintained. The scheme under which books are
given to needy and other students is very
good.
