Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, organized an awareness lecture on drug awareness

Yamunanagar, August 29, 2026 ( ): Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, organized an awareness lecture on drug awareness to raise awareness among students about the ill effects of drug addiction. The program was jointly organized by the Prahari Club, Anti-Drug Awareness and Anti-Tobacco Cell, Red Cross Club, NSS, NCC, and Sports Department.
Dr. Mahesh Kumar addressed the students as a resource person at this event. He provided detailed information about the ill effects of drug addiction, outlined the reasons why young people are drawn to drugs, and made them aware of the serious and harmful effects of drug addiction on individuals, families, and society. He informed the students about the legal provisions related to drug addiction and urged them to stay away from it completely and to raise awareness among their peers.
Dr. Manohar Goyal, Acting Principal of the college, congratulated all the organizers for the successful organization of the event. Addressing the students, he said that drug addiction affects a person’s health, education, career, and entire life. He urged the students to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy, disciplined, and positive lifestyle. Dr. Savita Garg, Dr. Poonam, and Dr. Rahul Singh, along with other college faculty, were also present on the occasion.
