150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram

Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, celebrated the 150th anniversary of the national song ’Vande Mataram’ with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. On this occasion, NSS volunteers and students from the college, including those from the theatre group, participated and collectively recited the national song ’Vande Mataram’ with deep emotion.
During the program, students presented patriotic songs, filling the entire atmosphere with a sense of patriotism. The college’s Acting Principal, Dr. Manohar Goyal, informed the students about the history and significance of the national song ’Vande Mataram’. He explained that this song is a symbol of our country’s unity and pride.
Also present on this occasion were Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Bhavna Sethi, and NSS Program Officers Dr. Rahul Singh, Dr. Umang Bareja, Dr. Ankur, and other staff members. They all conveyed the message to the students to always keep the spirit of patriotism alive.
