A dental check-up camp was organized as part of the Drug Prevention Campaign and the National Oral Health Program
A dental check-up camp was organized under the joint aegis of the Anti-Drug Awareness Cell, Anti-Tobacco Cell, and Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar, at the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, as part of the Drug Prevention Campaign and the National Oral Health Program. Dental specialists Dr. Navinder Pal Kaur and Dr. Vani Sharma from Mukand Lal Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar, participated in the camp and examined the teeth of the students. They educated the students on proper dental care and the adverse effects of drug addiction on their teeth and the body. They advised brushing teeth before bed and twice a day to maintain healthy teeth. The experts encouraged the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay away from drugs. The Anti-Drug Awareness Cell and Anti-Tobacco Cell team, including Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Pooja Rani, and Assistant Professor Kamal Kishore, played a significant role in organizing this camp. Approximately 129 students and college staff members benefited from this camp. On the successful organization of the camp, the acting principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, congratulated the students and encouraged them to organize such activities in the future also.
