A grand quiz competition was organized by the Commerce Association

A grand quiz competition was organized by the Commerce Association (Commerce Department) at Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar (Haryana), on the occasion of Saraswati Mahotsav-2026. A total of 70 students from all departments of the college, including the Commerce, Science, and Arts faculties, participated enthusiastically in the event.

The college principal, Dr. Anil Dhawan, was present at the event and encouraged the participants. He boosted the students’ morale, stating that such competitions play a vital role in developing knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills.

The competition was successfully conducted and coordinated under the expert guidance of the Head of the Commerce Department, Dr. Manohar Goyal, and Dr. Jitendra Singh. Under their leadership, the entire program was planned, organized, and conducted in a systematic and disciplined manner.

After a tough competition, Karan Bharti secured the first position, Riya Saluja the second, and Amanpreet Kaur the third, all demonstrating outstanding performance in the final round. The winners were awarded certificates by the college principal, Dr. Anil Dhawan, and the Head of the Commerce Department, Dr. Manohar Goyal.

On this occasion, Professor Parveen Khurana of the Commerce Department also participated in the program and gave an inspiring message to the students, wishing them a bright future.

During the program, speakers emphasized that such academic events play a crucial role in the all-round development of students, strengthening their intellectual abilities and competitive spirit.

The successful organization of the program was made possible by the commendable contributions of the Commerce Association team, the faculty members, and the student volunteers.
