A rally was taken out by Tobacco Control and Anti-Drug Awareness Cell

The Tobacco Control and Anti-Drug Awareness Cell at the local Mukand Lal National College administered the oath to the students of the college to not take drugs under the Drug Free India Campaign and motivated the students to stay away from bad habits like drug addiction. In this collective oath ceremony, the students also took the oath by filling the form.

To spread this campaign run by the Haryana government to the masses, a rally was taken out in Yamunanagar by the students and teachers. In which Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Pooja Rani and Assistant Professor Kamal Kishore were present. The objective of the rally is to save the youth from going astray so that they can make their future bright and make their important contribution in the interest of the country.

The Principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, along with Dr. Shriprakash and Dr. Rachna Agarwal, flagged off the rally. Dr Anil Dhawan congratulated all the members of the cell for successfully organising the programme and gave the message that drug addiction weakens the foundation of any society. Therefore, to strengthen the society, it is very important to eradicate drug addiction from its roots and this is possible only with the participation of the youth.
