An extension lecture on Communication Skills

An extension lecture on Communication Skills was organized by The English Literary Society, Department of English, Mukand Lal National College ,yamuna Nagar  on 24th Feb 2026.The lecture focused on enhancing the communication skills of the students in academic and professional setting. Dr. Sanjeev Gandhi, Professor, Jyotiba Phule Government College, Radaur was the resource person for the lecture.In an engaging and interactive session the speaker highlighted the importance of effective communication in today’s competitive world.Various aspects of communication were discussed in detail and practical strategies to improve communication skills were suggested.Principal Dr Anil Dhawan appreciated the efforts of the organising committee and emphasized on the need for continuous skill development among students. The lecture proved highly beneficial for the students as it provided them useful insights on the significance of communication skills in career as well as personality development.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Sumita Kanwar, Department of English department .She expressed her gratitude to the esteemed speaker and all the participants for making the programme a success. Several faculty members were also present at the occasion including Mrs Sunita Kapoor, Dr Rupender Kumar, Mr. Jitender Kumar, Dr. Rahul Singh and Dr. Pooja Rani.
