An informative lecture on the topic Global and National Career Pathways

The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar organized an informative lecture on the topic “Global and National Career Pathways” on May 7, 2025. The aim of which was to guide the students in their career options. In this program, expert speakers from Right Direction, Shirin Sibal Anand, Upasana Maggo, Nishtha Manocha and Manik shared information about national and international career opportunities, qualifications and skill development in their different sessions. Representatives of Right Direction also guided the students on higher studies and work visas, foreign employment trends in countries like USA, UK, Australia and Canada. About 110 students from various faculties took advantage of this program. While addressing the students, the Principal of the college Dr Anil Dhawan said that the decision to study abroad is not just an academic choice but an opportunity to learn from the wider experiences of life. He appreciated the efforts of Dr Nitya Kaushik and Dr Pooja Rani for the successful organisation of the programme and encouraged them to organise such informative programmes for the students in future as well.
