Anti-Drug Awareness and Tobacco Control Cell staged a street play regarding drug de-addiction
On March 13, 2026, the Anti-Drug Awareness and Tobacco Control Cell at the local Mukand Lal National College staged a street play within the college premises to raise awareness among students regarding drug de-addiction.
Through this street play, first-year M.Sc. students—Yashima, Kumkum, Shashank, Siddhant, and Akash—highlighted the adverse effects of drug abuse on society.
A large number of students from the college watched the play and pledged to stay away from drugs, as well as to raise awareness among people in their surrounding community regarding the detrimental impact of drugs on human life.
Present on this occasion were Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Mahesh, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Pooja Jain, and Assistant Professor Kamal Kishore.
Congratulating all the students and organizers on the successful staging of the play, the college’s Acting Principal, Dr. Manohar Goyal, extended his best wishes for continued efforts to generate awareness among students and society through such activities in the future.
