Celebration of Wildlife Week
Wildlife Week Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar
The Penguin Biological Society and Mukand Eco Club of MLN College, Yamuna Nagar jointly celebrated Wildlife Week with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Conference Hall of the college.
The celebration featured a series of engaging activities, including Slogan Writing, Terrarium Making, Poster Making, and PowerPoint Presentation Competitions. An invited lecture was delivered by Prof. Sujata Rani from Government College, Panchkula, on the theme “Wildlife Conservation Finance – Investing in People and Planet.” Her talk emphasized the vital role of wildlife conservation and the need to invest in both people and the planet for a sustainable future. About 75 students participated in various competitions and showcased their creativity and awareness towards wildlife protection.
Dr. Anil Dhawan, Principal of the College, awarded the winners and congratulated the organizers and participants for their enthusiastic efforts and motivated the students to understand the importance of wildlife and biodiversity in maintaining ecological balance.
The event was convened by Dr. Rameshwar Groach, Dr. Enna Choudhary and Prof. Neha Dhiman serving as the incharges of the event.
