Hindi Department organized a poetry recitation and speech competition

The Hindi Department of Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar organized a poetry recitation and speech competition on the occasion of 12 September 2025 (Hindi Day) in which various students of the college participated. The coordinator of this program, Dr. Manisha, Head of the Hindi Department, clarified the purpose of celebrating Hindi Day and made the students aware of the use of Hindi language. In these competitions, the students performed well and expressed their views. The speech competition was conducted on the topics “Shiksha Samagra Yojana”, “Mental Health”, “Social Media”, “Problems of Online Class”, “Problems of Online Class”, “Hindi Language in the World”, “Impact of AI”, “Role of Men and Women in Society”, “Vigilant India, Prosperous India”. In the poem recitation competition, Kanak Priya (BA-1st year) got first place, Shailaja Dwivedi (BA-final year) got second place, Payal Pal (BA-1st year) got third place. In the speech competition, Nitin (BA-final year) got first place, Kanak Priya (BA-1st year) got second place, Nandini (B.Com. TPP-1st year) got third place.

The acting principal of the college Dr. Anil Dhawan addressed all the students and highlighted the importance of Hindi language and motivated them to participate in such activities in future as well. The winning students were honored with certificates. Prof. Sunita Kapoor and Dr. Shri Prakash played the role of the jury of this competition. Assistant Prof. Abhilav, Komal and Garima Pal were also present on this occasion.
