Inter-College Competitions Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Manohar Goyal, various activities have been underway at Mukand Lal National College since September 17 as part of the "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan" (Service Pledge Campaign) under the ’Viksit Bharat 2047’ initiative. The primary objective of this campaign is to foster a spirit of service, social responsibility, and national interest among students, while actively involving them in socially beneficial activities.
As part of this campaign, inter-college competitions organized by Government College, Aharwala (Bilaspur), were held on October 5, 2026. Students from Mukand Lal National College participated enthusiastically in speech, quiz, and poster/creative presentation competitions. In the speech competition, Shraddha Dwivedi (B.A. 2nd Year) demonstrated originality of thought and linguistic proficiency. In the quiz competition, Hemant Bhardwaj (B.Sc. 2nd Year), Divya (B.B.A. 1st Year), and Akshit (B.Sc. 2nd Year) secured third place, showcasing their intellectual acumen and insight. Meanwhile, Rashi Pawar (B.Sc. 2nd Year) secured third place in the poster-making competition, displaying her creativity and artistic talent.
The success of the participants was driven by the tireless efforts and dedication of Dr. Rachna Agarwal, the Nodal Officer for the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, along with the coordinators of various college cells. They provided essential support and expert guidance, motivating the students to perform their best. Finally, Principal Dr. Manohar Goyal congratulated and guided all the participants. Appreciating the work of the coordinators managing the various campaign activities, he remarked that such competitions foster leadership qualities, self-reliance, and a sense of responsibility towards the nation among students.
