NSS organized a tree plantation drive at MLN College

Yamunanagar, August 8, 2026 ( ): Under the auspices of the National Service Scheme (NSS), a tree plantation was organized at Mukand Lal National College under the banner of "One Tree for Mother." The objective was to raise awareness among students about environmental protection and to maintain a green campus.
Under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rahul Singh, Dr. Umang Bareja and Dr. Ankur, more than 50 volunteers enthusiastically planted saplings and pledged to take regular care and protection of the plants.
On this occasion, the college’s Principal, Mr. Manohar Goyal, planted a sapling and inspired students to protect the environment. He said that such activities develop social responsibility and sensitivity towards nature in students. He also praised the N.S.S.
While appreciating this initiative organized by, he encouraged to continue organizing such activities in future also.
