Poster making and slogan writing competitions

Poster making and slogan writing competitions were organized by the Anti Drug Awareness and Anti Tobacco Cell of the local Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The objective of which was to make the students aware of the mental, physical, family and financial damage caused by drug abuse while making them aware of a drug-free India. The theme of the competitions was ’Drug Abuse: Awareness and Prevention’. Students participated enthusiastically in these competitions. The slogan of this program was ’Healthy, Empowered and Vigilant Youth’.
The Principal of the college, Dr. Anil Dhawan, while congratulating all the students, told them about the importance of such competitions. This program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Mahesh (Nodal Officer Anti Drug Awareness Cell), Dr. Sunita Sikri, Dr. Pooja Rani and Assistant Professor Kamal Kishore. The results of these competitions were as follows: In the slogan writing competition, Geetanjali came first, Rashi Panwar second and Chhabi third. In the poster making competition, Ridhima came first, Shanu second and Rajni Bala came third. All the winners were honoured and encouraged by giving them certificates.
