Seventh and final day of the seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp
The seventh and final day of the seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp organized by Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, began with morning yoga, physical exercises, and the NSS anthem. In the morning session, Mr. Brijpal from Dell Soft delivered a lecture on the camp’s theme, "Digital Literacy." Dr. Mahesh Kumar, coordinator of the college’s Anti-Tobacco Cell, gave a lecture on "Drug De-addiction: Awareness and Prevention," informing the volunteers about anti-drug laws, legal penalties, crime statistics, and the national toll-free helpline for the Drug-Free India campaign.
Captain (Dr.) Mamta Oberoi, the college’s NCC coordinator, delivered a lecture on road safety, encouraging the volunteers to follow traffic rules and drive safely. The college principal, Dr. Anil Dhawan, motivated the volunteers to work with dedication and commitment for the betterment of society and the nation.
The evening session featured cultural programs including patriotic songs, poetry recitation, a street play on drug de-addiction, Bhangra, and Haryanvi dance performances. Following this, the best volunteers were honored with mementos. The seven-day camp concluded successfully with the national anthem. All the camp activities were coordinated by the program officers, Dr. Rahul Singh, Dr. Umang Bareja, and Dr. Ankur.
